Now hiring: TIG welder (Northern Ireland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Full-time with occasional weekends.
