Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Madison County, Alabama. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
