Framing carpenter — Oneida County

Now hiring: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Oneida County, New York. You will be based at a shopfitting company. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage On a typical shift you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails.
