Conventional mill operator — Wheatland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Wheatland County, Montana. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
