Falsework carpenter • Placer County, California

We are recruiting: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Placer County, California. You will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking 3+ years on the tools preferred.
