Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Bosso, Niger State. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate You will record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift.
