Fire and safety officer wanted in Presidio County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Presidio County, Texas. You will work in a chemical processing unit. You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Your main tasks: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
