Finish carpenter • Warren County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Warren County, Iowa. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. You will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. You should have: • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
