Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in McCook County, South Dakota. On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Six days a week, one day off.
