Civil works labourer wanted in Tazewell County

Join our team: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Tazewell County, Illinois. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
