Argon arc welder — New Hanover County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in New Hanover County, North Carolina. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
