Urgent requirement: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Day-to-day duties: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
