Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Floyd County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Day to day you will set up and start the machine as per the job card; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift.
