Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Jefferson County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy production line. Day to day you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
