We are recruiting: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Washington County, Illinois. The role involves replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections. Ideal candidate: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
