Now hiring: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Red River Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
