Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently 4+ years on the tools preferred.
