Immediate opening: port container crane operator (Minnesota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Cass County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
