Occupational health and safety officer wanted in Wells County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Wells County, North Dakota. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. Day to day you will audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
