Safety officer wanted in Ukum

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in Ukum, Benue State. You will work in a chemical processing unit. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₦245,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
