Concrete placer • Ohafia, Abia State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Ohafia, Abia State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer.
