Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On a typical shift you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; run load and overload tests with test weights. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
