Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
