Now hiring: final inspection operator (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a final inspection operator in Clay County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation Requirements: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor 1+ years on the tools preferred.
