Join our team: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Bleckley County, Georgia. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold On a typical shift you will service split AC units and VRF systems; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
