Formwork joiner — Lyon County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Lyon County, Iowa. Day to day you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
