Gas metal arc welder • Lewis County, Tennessee

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Lewis County, Tennessee. You will work at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
