Join our team: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Mason County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On the job you will handle: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
