Crane operator • Miami County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Miami County, Kansas. You will work on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans 5+ years on the tools preferred. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
