Join our team: toolroom milling operator (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in City and Borough of Salford, England. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges We offer £1,800 per month plus benefits.
