Abattoir worker — Florence County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Florence County, South Carolina. Day to day you will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
