Concrete placer wanted in Presidio County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Presidio County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
