Garment machinist wanted in Oshodi/Isolo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Oshodi/Isolo, Lagos State. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On the job you will handle: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Rotating shifts.
