Packaging machine operator wanted in Angus

Vacancy available: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Angus, Scotland. You will be based in a textile mill. On the job you will handle: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Requirements: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
