Semi-automatic welder wanted in Grant County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Grant County, South Dakota. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Rotating shifts. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
