Immediate opening: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in Perry County, Illinois. The job is in a collision repair centre. The role involves: • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair What we are looking for: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage 2+ years on the tools preferred.
