Horizontal milling machine operator — Cumberland County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Cumberland County, North Carolina. You will work in a CNC machining unit. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters The role involves: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
