Prep cook — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a prep cook in Carroll County, Indiana. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking The role involves: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO 1+ years on the tools preferred.
