Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fitter on the line in Kankakee County, Illinois. The role involves: • Apply labels, barcodes and serial stickers in the right position • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Tighten fasteners to the specified torque using a power screwdriver or torque wrench • Fit and bolt components onto the chassis as it moves along the conveyor • Top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low Ideal candidate: • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S • Comfortable meeting hourly production targets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
