Day to day you will reroute around roadworks and diversions while keeping to time; check the first-aid kit and fire extinguisher on board; keep a daily trip log and record mileage and fuel used; pick up and drop staff at designated stops on schedule; carry out pre-trip checks on tyres, brakes, lights and mirrors.
