Meat trimmer — Georgetown County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Georgetown County, South Carolina. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. On a typical shift you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 6+ years on the tools preferred.
