Foundry labourer wanted in Wise County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Wise County, Virginia. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Full-time, day shift.
