Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Lavaca County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements On a typical shift you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
