Backhoe operator — Hoonah-Angoon Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. You will track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
