Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Reno County, Kansas. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
