Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Benton County, Missouri. The role involves patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
