Immediate opening: abattoir worker (Mississippi)

Now hiring: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Lee County, Mississippi. Day to day you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; season and marinate meat on request; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
