Day-to-day duties: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops You should have: • Valid digital tachograph card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
