Formwork joiner wanted in Surry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Surry County, Virginia. You will be based on a residential tower site. Day to day you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. You should have: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
