Marble fitter — McDonough County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fitter in McDonough County, Illinois. You will work on a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys What we are looking for: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish Six days a week, one day off.
